About the Team:

The Web Platform Engineering team has two key responsibilities: 

Web Platform Management: Our web platform facilitates the management of core business functions and provides essential support for the entire suite of iQmetrix products. The engineering team is responsible for developing new features, enhancing existing functionalities, and providing production support to ensure seamless business operations. 

New Product Web Application Development and Maintenance: This involves the development and sustained maintenance of high-quality web applications specifically designed for new product offerings. 

About This Role:

As a Software Engineer, you will be a vital member of our technology team, responsible for the full lifecycle of software development, from conceptualization and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. You will contribute to building robust, scalable, and high-performing applications and systems that meet our business needs and provide value to our users. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver innovative solutions and continuously improve our development processes. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Software Development & Feature Implementation: 

  • Design, develop, and implement new software features based on product requirements and technical specifications.
  • Enhance and optimize existing features to improve performance and user experience.
  • Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code following best engineering practices. 

System Maintenance & Production Support: 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and incidents, including those related to performance and security.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis of production issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Monitor application performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
  • Perform security analysis of applications and systems, identify and address security weaknesses and vulnerabilities. 

Collaboration & Teamwork: 

  • Work effectively within an Agile/Scrum team, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve overall system architecture and performance. 

Continuous Improvement: 

  • Stay current with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends in software development.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the evolution of our development practices.
  • Participate in learning and development activities to enhance technical skills. 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1-4 years of web application development experience with a strong focus and hands-on experience on React/JavaScript technologies.
  • In-depth understanding and experience in React and JavaScript ecosystem (React, JavaScript/Typescript, JSX, HTML/CSS, Node)
  • Eagerness to expand skills into full-stack development alongside React/JavaScript expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for effective troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical problems. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a global environment.
  • Ability to work in an Agile/SCRUM development environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or MCA (Master of Computer Applications).
