About the Team: 

The People & Culture (P&C) Team at iQmetrix plays a vital role in nurturing our Chrysalis ecosystem. About the Role: 

As People & Culture Coordinator, you play a critical role in supporting the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding. You will support hiring processes, update our HRIS system, coordinate onboarding and benefits administration as well as supporting employees with other documentation such as employment letters. By fostering positive relationships with employees, you will help maintain an efficient and supportive workplace, ensuring smooth transitions, and effective benefits administration, all while aligning with organizational policies. 

This position is a full-time, 14-month term role covering a maternity leave, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships across all levels of the organization, representing the P&C team professionally. 

  • Supporting hiring leads by overseeing recruitment activities, including updating the applicant tracking system (JazzHR), organizing candidate profiles, tracking application statuses, conducting resume and phone screenings, coordinating and scheduling interviews, and ensuring a seamless experience for candidates. 

  • Overseeing the day-to-day administration of U.S. and Canadian benefit programs, responding to employee inquiries regarding coverage. 

  • Processing employee information such as new hires, leaves, terminations, redeployments, and salary changes by entering data into HRIS (UKG) and other related databases, ensuring compliance with company policies and payroll deadlines. 

  • Coordinate the employee onboarding process, including conducting criminal checks, reference checks, and coordinating with IT and payroll for setup. Facilitate a smooth transition into the organization by advising new hires on policies and P&C programs and conducting check-ins. 

  • Coordinate employee offboarding, including scheduling exit interviews, updating systems, coordinating hardware return, and providing general support to managers. 

  • Respond to general employee inquiries and draft employment-related letters, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies. 

  • Ensure work permits and documentation are valid, and support employees through the immigration process. 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 1-2 years of experience in HR administration, with a focus on recruitment and benefits administration. 

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably JazzHR, and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), ideally UKG. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). 

  • Maintains confidentiality, handles sensitive information discreetly, and demonstrates strong attention to detail. 

  • Exhibits strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. 

  • Results-oriented with a sense of urgency and a positive, collaborative team spirit. 

  • Delivers high accuracy in data and reporting while working independently and managing multiple tasks.
