Purpose:

To ensure that new features and products are built in a way that solves the client’s problem.

Accountabilities:

  • Clarifying existing behavior to all interested parties
  • Identifying gaps between existing functionality and desired functionality
  • Gathering or responding to feedback from clients.
  • Decompose high-level information into details
  • Producing the software requirement documents used by members of the circle
  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
  • Assigning T-shirt sizes to features that have not yet been validated
  • Establishing base requirements or acceptance criteria for a newly proposed feature
  • Analyzing the feasibility of a suggested enhancement from a business and software perspective
  • Working with the UX Designer to ensure that all necessary mocks are created for features
  • Tracking projects milestones and tasks for on-time delivery
  • Validating that the basic acceptance criteria has been met
  • Communicating the status and committed version of the project
  • Facilitate internal knowledge transfer and training

Qualifications:

  • Awesome communication skills
  • Attention to detail –
  • An interest in the ‘why’
  • Self Starter
  • Previously experience as a BA a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related field
  • Experience in managing client relationships and seeking additional opportunities to serve them.
