Purpose of the Role and About Our Team:

Knocking down obstacles that stand in the way of a great user experience

We work on supporting and maintaining the Windows based software which sits at the heart of the iQmetrix wireless retail strategy.

We’re a group of problem solvers responsible for a wide variety of work, constantly improving the stability and scalability of our software.

Our development work includes new features, bug fixes, investigating client reported issues, and implementing performance improvements.

We constantly look for new ways to improve our architecture, our development skills, and our understanding of how best to deliver value to our clients.

  • Investigating client reported issues
  • Tracking down resolutions and determining causality of issues that clients have reported
  • Working on resolution of issues reported by clients in production
  • Hotfixing issues that are required for a patch between main release updates
  • Completing small features to add functionality
  • Reporting progress on work and communicating blockers to team members daily.
  • Owning the unassigned work items and making sure items are resolved in a timely fashion
  • Monitoring diagnostics/logs while developing new features and fixing bugs to make sure “silent” errors aren’t cluttering the logs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent experience
  • We are open to all levels of experience for this role.
  • Passion for improving code and exploring new technologies
  • Ability to evaluate and communicate relative merits of technical solutions to business problems
  • Aptitude for working independently while coordinating with a larger team

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with building C# .Net applications using WPF, XAML and WCF
  • Experience with a variety of Automated Testing methodologies (Unit, Integration, etc.)
  • Experience writing and maintaining queries for SQL Server or other Relational Databases
  • Knowledge of RESTful Micro-Services and Cloud Architecture
